Terms and conditions

We thank you for your interest in renting Château Borgeat de Lagrange. Before booking, please read the information below.

For your information, we are present on the property. We will therefore be at your disposal if necessary but you will be independent and will have private access to the castle, i.e.:

– up to 10 renovated rooms each with their own bathroom (beds will be made; towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer at your disposal)
– the dining room and lounges in a row (with Bluetooth speaker)
– the equipped kitchen (crockery, wine glasses, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Senseo coffee machine and filter coffee machine, tea towels, trash bags, dishwashing liquid, etc.)
– the cellar with overhead projector and Apple TV.

– the wooded park with garden furniture, swimming pool and barbecue.

GENERAL PROVISIONS
The tenant may not, under any circumstances, claim any right or retention in the premises at the expiration of the planned reservation period, unless agreed by the owner.
PAYMENT
The reservation will become effective once the tenant has paid the deposit of 50% of the stay. The balance of the rental will be paid at least 60 days before arrival. If the tenant wishes to change his arrival date, he must notify the owner in advance.

USE of the PREMISES
The tenant will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the destination of the premises. Smoking is prohibited inside the castle. Upon departure, the tenant undertakes to return the rental in the same condition as he found it upon arrival. All equipment listed in the inventory must be returned to the place it occupied when entering the premises.
The lessee undertakes to maintain the sanitary, electrical and heating installations in perfect condition for which he must take all precautions. Any repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental will be the responsibility of the lessee. The rental cannot under any circumstances benefit third parties, except with the prior agreement of the owner.
Subletting is prohibited to the lessee, under any pretext whatsoever, even free of charge, under penalty of termination of the contract. The full amount of the rent remaining acquired or due to the owner. The premises are rented for holiday use excluding any professional, commercial or craft activity of any nature whatsoever. The installation of tents or the parking of caravans on the grounds of the rented property is prohibited without prior agreement from the owner. The owner will provide the accommodation in accordance with the description he has given and will keep it in serviceable condition. As a general rule, the tenant will leave the premises at the time stipulated in the contract or at a time convenient to the owner, after inventory.

SPECIAL CASES
The number of tenants cannot exceed the maximum accommodation capacity indicated in the catalog or descriptive statement. Exceptionally and subject to the owner’s agreement, this rule may be waived. In this case, the owner will be entitled to receive a price increase which must be communicated to the tenant in advance.

STATE OF PLACE
The inventory of fixtures and inventory of furniture and various equipment will be made at the beginning and end of the stay by the owner and the tenant.
If the owner notices damage, it will be subject to a deduction from the security deposit, the amount of which will be determined by amicable agreement between the owner and the tenant. In the event of a dispute, a quote will be made by a professional or an authorized organization, requested by the tenant before their departure or, failing that, by the owner during the inventory of the premises upon departure. In this case, the security deposit will be returned to the tenant by mail within two weeks, less the amount of the work estimated in the estimate.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A deposit of €1000 must be paid by check upon taking possession of the rented premises to cover loss or damage that could be caused to objects, furniture or other items. It will be returned to the tenant upon leaving the premises or within 8 days after their departure, less damage, loss of objects, etc. If the security deposit proves insufficient, the lessee undertakes to complete the amount after the exit inventory. This deposit cannot under any circumstances be considered as a contribution to the rent.

ANIMALS
The presence of pets must be notified in advance.

TERMS OF CANCELATION
Any cancellation must be notified by email before entry into use.
If the cancellation occurs less than 60 days before entering the premises, the deposit for the stay will be refunded. If the cancellation is made more than 60 days before entry to the premises
